Have you ever checked the sales of the best independent bakeries around the world? I am sure you will be amazed to know how small bakers turned into rich entrepreneurs. In 1994, Jim Lahey started Sullivan Street Bakery after several years experimenting as a home baker. Today, his company has about $6 million in annual revenues and about 90 employees.

Pick up a simple bakery item initially, like cupcakes.  If you start with a $2 as the starting deal I think you can give competition to New York’s famed Magnolia Bakery which sells 2,000 cupcakes a day.

From books to electronics, buy anything in bulk from E-Bay and then sell it individually, keeping your profits.  You can also pick resalable items from the street which are given away for pennies. You buy them and sale at reasonable prices online.

Book Keeping:

If you are good with bookkeeping soft wares you can start with a company offering to manage with record keeping. Every company needs staff to help with record-keeping, accounting, and other tasks. You can advertise for people expert at bookkeeping stuff and then advertise your services online. I am sure; you will be approached by number of companies.

Web Designing:

If you are done with few designing courses and have a sharp eye for website designing, I would advice you to start making money while sitting in your room. Begin by building sites for friends and contacts to accumulate a portfolio. Focus on a niche, like designing pages for bands or restaurants, where you can develop a name for yourself in the community and get referrals from your early clients.

Floral designer:

Beauty and colors of flowers inspire everyone on earth. Turn your love for flowers into a proper bouquet arrangement business. You just need to get flower arrangement course done from any vocational or private floral school and then start taking orders for weddings, bar mitzvahs and dinner parties. About one-third of the estimated 87,000 floral designers are self-employed, according to the Labor Dept.

Great ideas! I really think this is the time for entrepreneurs to be working to come up with creative and innovative ways to fill gaps in the market. I just came across a company recently that is fulfilling a unique niche of the market - they’re a printing company (http://www.digitallizard.com/small-medium-business.php) that provides you with an online portal from which you or your clients can order prints very easily.
